Quartz · Silestone by Cosentino
Dekton is Cosentino’s ceramic; Silestone is the same maker’s engineered quartz — non-porous, never in need of sealing and easy to live with. Our quartz catalogue includes 24 Silestone stones, among them Eternal Desert Silver, Eternal Charcoal Soapstone, Arden Blue, Ariel, Calypso and Nebula Lagoon — all with public prices from 348 €/m². You can see them at our Noblessner showroom before you order.
Why Silestone
What makes Silestone different
Engineered quartz from Spain’s Cosentino, which shares a maker with Dekton but not a material.
Two materials, one maker
Silestone and Dekton both come from Cosentino. If you’re hesitating between quartz and ceramic, at the showroom you can compare the same manufacturer’s two answers.
The Eternal series
The stones in the Eternal series imitate natural stone — Eternal Charcoal Soapstone refers by its very name to charcoal-grey soapstone — but unlike natural stone they don’t need sealing.
Prices on show
Every stone has its price right next to it, so you can compare Silestone colours with each other and with other brands without waiting for a quote.
Who it suits
Is Silestone your stone?
Honest pros and limitations, so you can be sure of your choice even before you visit the showroom.
Silestone is right if
- you’re weighing up Cosentino materials and want to choose between the same maker’s quartz and ceramic
- you like the pattern of natural stone, but not the sealing and the sensitivity to stains
- the kitchen needs colour — blue Arden Blue is a bold choice
- you want the kitchen and bathroom surfaces in the same stone
Look elsewhere if
- you want a surface you can put a hot pan on without a trivet — from the same maker, that’s Dekton
- the surface will be outdoors, because the resin in quartz isn’t UV-stable
- you want a wider choice of colours — our catalogue has more Technistone stones
In practice
Silestone at home
From kitchen to bathroom
The non-porous surface doesn’t absorb water, soap or cosmetics, so Silestone also works as a bathroom vanity top and a windowsill. Still, wipe up hair dye and nail varnish straight away.
One company responsible
The same team laser-measures your kitchen, cuts and finishes the slab at our Patika factory (saw, edge machine, CNC and hand finishing) and installs it — one company answers for the whole job, not a chain of subcontractors.

Frequently asked questions
What does Silestone cost?
Silestone starts at 348 €/m² in our catalogue, VAT included. Prices are public stone by stone, so you can see the difference between the Eternal series and the other colours straight away. In the quote, the edge, cut-outs, transport and installation are added to the price of the stone.
What does it take to keep Silestone clean?
Not much: a damp microfibre cloth, plus a drop of washing-up liquid for grease. The surface is non-porous, so it doesn’t need sealing or treating with special products. Avoid oven cleaner, solvents and abrasive sponges, which can dull the surface.
Do marks show more on dark Silestone?
Yes, as on any dark stone surface. On a dark surface such as Eternal Charcoal Soapstone, limescale from dried water drops, grease and dust catch the eye more easily than on a light one, so wipe the area around the sink dry after use. Heat is the same limitation for every colour: the resin in quartz can’t take a hot pan straight on the surface, so use a trivet.
Silestone or Dekton — which to choose from Cosentino?
Both come from the same maker, but the material is different. Silestone is engineered quartz: most commonly 20 mm thick, more resistant to knocks at the edge and very easy to live with in an indoor kitchen, but a hot pan needs a trivet and it isn’t suitable outdoors. Dekton is a sintered ceramic that takes heat and sun and is usually thinner. Both work indoors; for an outdoor kitchen, choose Dekton.
Can I compare Silestone and Dekton side by side at the showroom?
Yes. At our showroom at Vesilennuki 20 in Noblessner you can see both — the most popular colours as full slabs, the rest as samples and full-size photos — and feel how quartz and ceramic differ under your hand. Book a time in advance and name the stones you’d like to see. Once you’ve chosen, measurement follows within a week, then installation 10 working days from drawing approval.
