Why Caesarstone

Caesarstone’s strengths

An internationally known quartz brand whose colour palette sits well in today’s Nordic kitchen.

Four greys

London Grey, Turbine Grey, Coastal Grey and Noble Grey — a grey worktop ties black metal, white fronts and wood together and is easy on the eye.

Concrete and marble

Airy Concrete and Sleek Concrete bring the look of concrete into the kitchen, Statuario Nuvo a classic marble pattern — either way with a non-porous surface that needs no sealing.

Stone and price before you decide

Every Caesarstone stone has a public price in the catalogue, and you can see them in Noblessner. When Stoneks measures, delivers and installs, the stone surface carries a lifetime warranty.

Who it suits

Which kitchen Caesarstone suits

In short: when Caesarstone is a good choice and when it’s worth looking elsewhere.

Choose Caesarstone if

  • your kitchen is built around grey, black and white, and the worktop has to tie them together
  • you like the look of concrete, but frying oil and tomato sauce must come off with one wipe
  • you want a well-known international quartz brand and to see the stone before you order

Look at others if

  • a hot oven dish needs to go straight onto the worktop — then choose Dekton
  • you’re after a terrazzo pattern — you’ll find it in the Technistone Taurus series
  • the worktop is going into an outdoor kitchen, where the resin in quartz would change colour in the sun

In practice

What Caesarstone needs day to day

Marks on a matt surface

If you choose a matt or concrete-like finish, bear in mind that metal pan bases and greasy fingers leave a more visible mark on it than on a polished surface. Usually it comes off with a damp cloth and detergent.

A long island and the joint

If the island or worktop is longer than a slab, it will need a joint. We place it as inconspicuously as possible on the working drawing and show it to you before anything is cut.

Frequently asked questions

How expensive is a Caesarstone worktop?

In our catalogue the lowest price for Caesarstone is 167 €/m², VAT included; you’ll find the price of a specific stone on its card. The kitchen total depends on how many square metres of slab it takes, which edge you choose and how many cut-outs are needed. Send a drawing or measurements — we reply with a detailed quote within 24 hours on working days, and the purchase can also be financed with an LHV furnishing loan.

How do I look after Caesarstone day to day?

Wipe the surface with a damp cloth and use a mild detergent on greasy marks; there’s no need to seal it. Remove dried-on food with a plastic scraper, not a knife. Leave strongly alkaline products such as oven cleaner aside, as they can damage the surface of engineered quartz.

Can a hot pan damage Caesarstone?

It can. The binder in engineered quartz is resin, and a hot pan placed straight on the surface or a sudden change in temperature can leave a mark or cause a crack, especially near the edge and the hob cut-out. Keep a trivet next to the hob. If you want a surface that can take a hot pan, look at Dekton.

Caesarstone or Silestone — what sets them apart?

Day to day they behave much alike: both are non-porous engineered quartz that doesn’t need sealing, and neither should get a hot pan without a trivet. The difference is in the colours and the maker. Our Caesarstone range has many greys and concrete-look surfaces, while Silestone is quartz by Cosentino, the maker of Dekton, whose Eternal series carries natural stone patterns. Starting prices: Caesarstone from 167 €/m², Silestone from 348 €/m².

How can I compare Caesarstone’s greys before ordering?

The surest way is to visit our showroom at Vesilennuki 20 in Noblessner. The difference between grey tones such as London Grey and Turbine Grey only becomes clear when you see them side by side at full scale — the most popular colours as full slabs, the rest as samples and full-size photos. Book a time in advance and tell us which stones you’d like to see; our consultant will help you choose the edge and the sink at the same time.
