Polished black has a reputation for showing every crumb, and gloss does reveal dust more than a speckled granite would. What Technistone Starlight Black offers in return is a deep, reflective worktop from the Czech Republic that wipes clean in seconds and never needs sealing.
Choose 20 mm for a classic edge or 30 mm when the worktop should look substantial. Pans fresh from the hob belong on a trivet; everything else is soap and water.
