Black in a matt finish behaves differently from polished black: no mirror effect, no glare from spotlights, and a velvety, modern look. Technistone Poetic Black offers exactly that in Czech-made quartz at 20 or 30 mm.
The trade-off is that grease and fingerprints can show on matt dark surfaces, so a wipe with warm soapy water and a dry microfibre cloth is worth making a habit. No sealing is involved, and a trivet takes the heat of a pan.
Sawing, edging and hand-finishing happen piece by piece at Patika, after which our installers fit the worktop.
