Island, splashback, window sill – Technistone Pearl Delta can cover all three in one polished black, which gives a kitchen a joined-up look. This quartz is Czech-made and sold as 20 or 30 mm slabs.
On an island the 30 mm edge reads as solid and generous; along the wall, 20 mm keeps proportions slimmer. Polished black shows water spots, so dry after wiping; otherwise, the non-porous slab needs no sealer, only a trivet when pans are hot.
