Cutting a hob opening into quartz is precision work. For Quartz Marmo Bianco we take the hob’s template and cut the opening on our CNC machine, so the hob sits evenly with a neat, consistent gap all round. The sink opening is handled the same way.
The white engineered quartz itself is easy to live with: no pores, no sealing, and coffee or oil wipe off. Heat from a pan straight off the hob is its one weakness, so keep a trivet nearby. The full price, cut-outs included, is agreed before cutting.
