When the island doubles as dining table, homework desk and baking station, the surface has to cope with everything at once. Nuovo Corso Calacatta Oro is a white ceramic that does: hot trays and sharp knives leave no lasting marks.
Ceramic has a closed surface, so there is nothing to seal and nothing for spills to soak into. It is UV-stable too, which means a matching worktop on the terrace will not fade.
Large islands often need more than one slab. We agree the joint position with you on the drawing before production begins.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Nuovo Corso Calacatta Oro cost?
It starts from 311 €/m² incl. VAT. We itemise the stone, edges, cut-outs, laser measuring, delivery and installation, and send the quote within 24 hours on working days.
Where does Nuovo Corso Calacatta Oro work best?
Kitchen islands and worktops, bathroom vanity tops, window sills and outdoor kitchens, as ceramic tolerates heat and UV light.
How do I care for a ceramic worktop?
Warm water and a neutral cleaner are enough, and no sealing is needed. For dried-on marks, a non-abrasive cream cleaner works well.
How quickly can it be installed?
Installation 10 working days from drawing approval. Once fitted by Stoneks, the stone surface has a 10-year warranty.
White ceramic for kitchens that work hard: Nuovo Corso Calacatta Oro resists heat, scratches and UV, so it suits islands, family kitchens and outdoor cooking.
