If you cook every day and would rather not fuss over a worktop, Avant Calacatta Normandie is a sensible match. Being engineered quartz without pores, it lets oil, coffee and beetroot juice sit on top rather than sink in.
The finish is polished, the colour family grey, the thickness 20 mm, and it comes from a manufacturer in China. Our laser survey of the room means the drawings you approve match the walls you actually have — including the ones that are not quite straight.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Avant Calacatta Normandie cost per square metre?
From 432 €/m² incl. VAT. The quote shows edge profiles, cut-outs, measuring, transport and installation as separate items and is ready within 24 hours on working days.
Is Avant Calacatta Normandie good for a kitchen island?
Yes. It suits islands and wall-run worktops, as well as bathroom vanities and window sills, wherever a non-porous, easy-clean surface helps.
How do I clean Avant Calacatta Normandie?
Use warm water and a mild detergent. There is nothing to seal; just keep a trivet handy for hot pans straight from the oven.
How long does it take to get it installed?
Installation 10 working days from drawing approval. Our own installers do the fitting, and the full measure-deliver-install service includes a 10-year warranty on the stone surface.
Polished grey engineered quartz from Avant, 20 mm thick — a low-maintenance surface for people who cook every day and want nothing to do with sealing.
