Suede is the finish to ask about. Silestone Blanco Maple is listed polished and in suede, a soft matt texture that feels warm to the touch and keeps glare off the worktop under strong lighting.
Both finishes are made in Spain on the same non-porous quartz, so neither needs sealing. A matt surface can show greasy fingermarks, which come off with warm water and a little washing-up liquid. Thicknesses are 12, 20 and 30 mm, covering worktops, walls and window sills.
