Matching a worktop to grey floor tiles is harder than it sounds. Tones that look alike in a showroom drift apart at home, which is why we suggest bringing a floor tile when you look at Dekton Kovik, a matt grey sintered stone made in Spain.
Once the match is right, the surface asks little: no sealing, no absorption, no marks from a hot pan. The matt finish keeps glare down. Worktops and vanity tops are cut from 20 mm, wall cladding from 12 mm, and indoor window sills are possible too. A chopping board is still a good idea.
