With a book-matched surface, the real work is planning the joint. For Laminam I Naturali Statuarietto Book Match, we position the mirrored slabs on the drawing so the seam sits where it looks deliberate, typically on an island or a long straight run.
The material is a white ceramic, so heat, scratches and UV light are not a worry and no sealing is needed.
Our Patika factory routes each opening on CNC, then the edges are hand-shaped to their final form.
