For a farmhouse-style kitchen with exposed beams and a range cooker, texture matters more than shine. Pietra di Savoia Perla Bocciardata from Laminam has a brushed grey surface that catches side light softly and suits rough plaster, old timber and stone floors.<\/p>\n
Made in Italy, the ceramic is available in two thicknesses, the heavier 20 mm for counters and the lighter 12 mm for cladding. Living with a brushed face is simple: nothing to seal, nothing soaks in, and hot pots from the range are fine. Flour and crumbs lift out of the texture with a soft brush.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
