Stone fireplace surrounds and hearth slabs

A fireplace draws every eye in the room, and stone helps it last. A granite or ceramic surround and hearth slab cope with the heat and are easy to keep clean. We make the stone parts for indoor and outdoor fireplaces in our own factory in Patika and install them with our own team.

What we make

Three ways to use stone around a fire

Fireplace surround

Front panel, sides and mantel shelf all in one stone, with polished edges and barely visible joints.

Hearth slab

In front of and beneath the firebox: granite or ceramic that stands up to sparks and heat.

Outdoor fireplace and outdoor kitchen

Ceramic (Dekton) is not bothered by rain, frost or sun, and it makes a fine outdoor kitchen worktop too.

Frequently asked questions

About stone fireplaces

Which stone is best around a fireplace?

Because of the heat and the constant swings in temperature, we recommend granite or ceramic (Dekton). Marble is fine indoors as a decorative surround, where the stone is not in direct contact with the firebox. For outdoor fireplaces and outdoor kitchens, ceramic is the material to choose, since UV and moisture do not trouble it.

</details>

How are the measurements taken?

Either from a drawing of the fireplace or firebox, or by measuring on site. At our factory the hearth slab, surround and mantel shelf are cut to size on the saw, with any cut-outs and shapes made on the CNC, all following drawings you approve; the edges are finished on the edge machine.

</details>

How much does a stone fireplace cost?

It comes down to the stone and the number of pieces. Material is priced per m² (granite from 152 €/m², Dekton from 186 €/m², VAT included), with edge work and installation as separate lines. Send us a drawing or a photo and, on working days, your quote arrives within 24 hours.

</details>
